Recent Kingfisher Police Department reports

The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following reports:

April 5 - False report of vehicle theft and operating place/soliciting prostitution. — Officer Jarred Tech responded to a report of a stolen vehicle in the 100 block of North Eighth Street. According to the report, a 26-year-old male allegedly stated that his ex-girlfriend had loaned his vehicle to her friends and they had not returned it. Upon further investigation, it was determined the reporting party had loaned the vehicle to two individuals who had “cut off communication with him” and failed to return the vehicle. According to the report, one of the two female suspects - a 47-year-old female - contacted Tech and stated the reporting party had sold the vehicle to them and it was currently parked in Oklahoma City due to being inoperable. Tech said in his report the 47-year-old female further provided documentation which appeared to support her claim that she had purchased the vehicle. According to the report, the male suspect also allegedly solicited sex from the 26-year-old female in exchange for a discounted price on the vehicle, which she agreed to but later rejected, after the suspect reported the vehicle as stolen.

April 7 - Public intoxication and enter a structure with certain intent-break and enter. — Officer Christopher Mc-Daniel responded to a report of breaking and entering in the 600 block of South Third Street. McDaniel said in his report that a 46-year-old female suspect had entered a residence and was located in the bathroom “naked and covered in feces.” Officers removed the suspect and transported her to the Kingfisher County Criminal Justice Center. Sergeant Charles Trout assisted with the investigation.

April 8 - Warrant, no valid driver’s license, failure to show insurance and wrong way on oneway road. — Officer Michael Farrar said in his report that he observed a vehicle on Starlite Drive turn northbound into the southbound lane of U.S. 81 and he initiated a traffic stop. According to the report, a 40-year-old male driver was determined to have an outstanding warrant and was driving with no valid driver’s license or insurance. The suspect was placed under arrest and transported to the Kingfisher County Criminal Justice Center. Sergeant Aaron Schlegel assisted with the investigation.

April 17 - Leaving scene of accident involving damage. — Officer Justin Conner responded to a report of an accident involving damage in the 300 block of East Broadway Avenue. According to the report, a semi-truck struck the underpass on East Broadway Avenue and proceeded without stopping after the accident. A witness provided a photograph of the semitruck’s trailer tag and Conner made contact with the 30-year-old male suspect, the report said. Officer Matthew Hollon assisted with the investigation.
