The following traffic accidents are being investigated by the Kingfisher Police Department:

August 8, 12:50 p.m. At 1500 S. 13th St.

A 16-year-old female, Kingfisher, driving a 2013 Ford Focus, was parked in a parking space at Kingfisher High School, 1500 S. 13th St.

A 16-year-old male, Kingfi sher, driving a 1999 Ford F-250, attempted to park in an adjacent parking space and struck the 16-year-old female’s vehicle.

Minor damage was reported to both vehicles.

No injuries were reported.

Sergeant Aaron Schlegel investigated the accident.

August 12, 3:37 p.m. At Will Rogers Drive and U.S. 81.

Beverlene Combest, 69, Electra, Texas, driving a 2020 Ford F-350, was southbound in the outside lane of U.S. 81.

A 16-year-old female, Kingfisher, driving a 2024 Jeep Compass, was northbound in the inside lane of U.S. 81.

According to the report, the 16-year-old’s vehicle attempted to make a left turn onto West Will Rogers Drive and was struck by the Combest vehicle.

Functional damage was reported to the 16-year-old’s vehicle and minor damage to the Combest vehicle.

No injuries were reported.
