The following traffic accidents are being investigated by the Kingfisher Police Department:

August 13, 11:54 a.m. - At U.S. 81 and S.H. 33. Ryon Boatright, 29, Stillwater, driving a 2022 Ram 3500 towing a trailer, was westbound on S.H. 33 and stopped at the intersection of S.H. 33 and U.S. 81. Jason Kines, 49, Ben Wheeler, Texas, driving a 2025 Ram 1500, was westbound on S.H. 33 and stopped in the left lane at the intersection of U.S. 81. According to the report, the Boatright vehicle was stopped in both the right lane as well as partially in the left lane. As the Boatright vehicle attempted to make a wide right turn its trailer struck the mirror of the Kines vehicle, the report said. Minor damage was reported to the Kines vehicle and no damage to the Boatright vehicle. No injuries were reported. Sergeant Aaron Schlegel investigated the accident.

August 13, 3:45 p.m. — At Starlite Drive and U.S. 81. Daniel Molnar, 42, Oklahoma City, driving a 2014 Peterbilt 389 semi-tractor/ trailer, was southbound on U.S. 81. John Lee, 41, Cleveland, driving a 2017 Dodge Durango towing a trailer carrying a vehicle, was also southbound on U.S. 81 directly behind the Molnar vehicle. According to the report, the Molnar vehicle slowed for the traffic light then proceeded southbound. The Lee vehicle failed to yield and struck the Molnar vehicle in the rear, which caused the vehicle on its trailer to shift, which then struck the rear of the Lee vehicle, the report said. Minor damage was reported to the Molnar vehicle and functional damage to the Lee vehicle. No injuries were reported. Officer Christopher Mc-Daniel investigated the accident.

August 13, 6:50 a.m. - At U.S. 81 and S.H. 33. Robert Jacob, 52, Carney, driving a 2008 Peterbilt 389 tractor/trailer, was westbound in the inside lane of S.H. 33 and stopped at the traffic signal at the U.S. 81 intersection. Kaitlyn Strack, 27, Perry, driving a 2023 Kia Soul, was stopped directly behind the Jacob vehicle. Shawn Brown, 50, Cashion, driving a 2024 Ford F-150, was stopped behind the Strack vehicle. John Hubbard, 66, Kingfi sher, driving a 2004 Chevrolet Colorado, was westbound on S.H. 33, attempted to enter the left lane, but struck the Brown vehicle in the rear and also then struck the Jacob vehicle. Disabling damage was reported to the Hubbard and Brown vehicles, no damage to the Strack vehicle and minor damage to the Jacob vehicle. No injuries were reported. Sergeant Aaron Schlegel investigated the accident.

August 21, 11:45 a.m. - At U.S. 81 and S.H. 33. Marcus Smith, 50, Abilene, Texas, driving a 2025 Peterbilt 589 tractor/trailer, was southbound on U.S. 81. According to the report, the Smith vehicle attempted to make wide right turn onto westbound S.H. 33 and its cargo struck a sign and post on the northwest corner. No damage was reported to the Smith vehicle. No injuries were reported. Captain Dustin Brodrick investigated the accident.

August 21, 4:40 p.m. At U.S. 81, approximately 500 feet south of Will Rogers Drive. Jordyn Scott, 29, Seminole, driving a 2017 GMC Sierra, was westbound in the parking lot exit of Johnsons of Kingfisher and waiting for traffic to clear to merge onto U.S. 81. Alexis Stotts, 26, Kingfisher, driving a 2017 Nissan Murano, was eastbound in the parking lot exit of Dollar Tree and waiting for traffic to clear to merge onto U.S. 81. According to the report, the Scott vehicle attempted to turn left (southbound) into the turning lane. The Stotts vehicle attempted to turn left (northbound) into the turning lane and struck the Scott vehicle, the report said. Disabling damage was reported to the Stotts vehicle and minor damage to the Scott vehicle. Stotts and two minor children in the Stotts’ vehicle sustained minor injuries to the head and face and were transported via Kingfisher EMS to Mercy Hospital Kingfisher. Sergeant Aaron Schlegel investigated the accident.

September 6, 4:44 p.m. - At S.H. 33, approximately 200 feet east of U.S. 81. Shauna Rupp, Kingfisher, driving a 2013 Jeep Wrangler, was parked at Kingfisher Chamber of Commerce, 110 E. Broadway Ave. David Odem, 74, Cashion, driving a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado, was westbound on S.H. 33. According to the report, the Rupp vehicle attempted to back out of the parking space onto S.H. 33 and struck the Odem vehicle. Functional damage was reported to the Odem vehicle and minor damage to the Rupp vehicle. No injuries were reported. Officer Michael Farrar investigated the accident.

September 10, 4:10 p. m. - At U.S. 81 and Toronto Avenue. Phillip Talbott, 63, Dover, driving a 2016 Mazda CX-5, was southbound in the left lane of U.S. 81. Travis Knight, 43, Cleburne, Texas, driving a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado, was southbound in the left lane of U.S. 81 directly behind the Talbott vehicle. According to the report, the Talbott vehicle slowed for a vehicle attempting to turn left and was struck in the rear by the Knight vehicle. Functional damage was reported to the Talbott vehicle and minor damage to the Knight vehicle. A 53-year-old female passenger in the Talbott vehicle sustained a possible spine injury and was transported by personal vehicle to Mercy Hospital Kingfisher. Officer Christopher Mc-Daniel investigated the accident.

September 16, 3:28 p.m. - At U.S. 81 and Will Rogers Drive. A 16-yearold female, Kingfisher, driving a 2022 Hyundai Tucson, was southbound in the left lane of U.S. 81. Stephen Seely, 45, Okarche, driving a 2008 Toyota RAV4, was southbound in the left lane of U.S. 81 directly behind the 16-year-old’s vehicle. According to the report the 16-year-old’s vehicle was stopped while waiting for traffic to clear in an attempt to make a left turn when it was struck in the rear by the Seely vehicle. Functional damage was reported to both vehicles. No injuries were reported. Sergeant Aaron Schlegel investigated the accident.
