Mollie Shepherd went to see Betsy Ann Yellow Eagle at Baptist Children home Friday afternoon. She had to leave next day Saturday. She cried realizing I had to leave for Lame Deer, Montana. No one to care for me at the house on account of injury. Mollie was released at the hospital in Kingfisher.

Hennessey Town Clerk Shelley Burch officially received another title during last week’s town board meeting.That’s when trustees named her as Hennessey’s business and community relations liaison.

The 56th Ellyson family reunion was held Sunday, July 12, at the Interbank Community Room in Kingfi sher.Hosting this year’s reunion were the Earnest Ellyson and Joe Ellyson families.Those attending opened with prayer and dined on a buffet of food.

Bids took up the majority of Kingfisher County Commissioners’ weekly meeting Monday.The commissioners approved a solicitation of bids for fencing around a District 3 yard located 12 miles west of Kingfisher and one-half mile north of S.H. 33.
