Kingfisher students wrap up driver’s education classroom work

Before driver’s education students hit the road for that portion of their summer learning, they must first complete 30 hours of classroom work. Students in Kingfisher this summer have heard not just from instructors Doug Jech and T.J. Harris, but also multiple outside sources.

Members of Theta Tau elected officers for the 2026-27 year. Karen Hubbard was elected president and introduced her theme, “Cooking With Friends and Helping Others.” Members received aprons featuring the new theme along with cooking- themed utensils.

Tabulated bids approved by county

Kingfisher County commissioners Monday approved the tabulated bids for road and bridge materials and commercial roadway work for all three districts for the first sixmonths of the fiscal year beginning July 1.
