Kingfisher County commissioners approved the division of the county half-cent sales tax and named County Clerk Jeannie Boevers to represent the county on the Oklahoma Public Employees Health and Welfare Plan board, succeeding former District 3 Commissioner Heath Dobrovolny Monday.

“Electronic communications” from a Hennessey school employee to a student “should be through the District’s computer and telephone systems,” and include the student’s parent or guardian.

Jeff Hyatt recently passed the figurative gavel to Jon Benham…and Benham gave one right back. A local attorney, Benham recently took over as president of the Kingfisher Rotary Club. He succeeds Jeff Hyatt, who served in that role for the 2023-24 year.
