The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following reports: February 6 - Larceny of merchandise from retailer (two counts). Sergeant Aaron Schlegel took a report of theft at Love’s Country Store, 203 S. Main St.

KPD reluctantly giving up its Throne

When Madell Henderson retired in 2005, she left big shoes to fill. With 32 years of dedicated service as dispatcher and records clerk to the Kingfisher Police Department, Henderson was an important and loved asset to the department and the community. She would be hard to replace.

Farmerettes cover busy agenda during March meeting

The Hennessey Farmerettes met Thursday, March 12, at the First Christian Church with Paula Nicholson as hostess. Jamie Akenhead was selected as the Outstanding Member of the Farmerettes for 2026. She will be recognized at the Hennessey Red Carpet Meeting in April.
