[ Editor’s note: Cashion FFA Reporter Molly Mayes has submitted more than a dozen (and counting) articles during her time in office. Following is a recap of 2025 that she sent earlier this year and below is another article about Cashion celebrating National FFA Week.

Cashion, Okla. – “Living to serve” is an important part of the FFA motto.Cashion FFA members have dedicated themselves to embodying this portion of the motto, through community service, activities and providing an opportunity for students to learn what it means to truly serve others.

National FFA Week is a time to celebrate leadership, hard work and the many opportunities that FFA gives students.The Okarche FFA Chapter has plenty to celebrate this year, especially after an outstanding showing at the Kingfisher County Junior Livestock Show.

National FFA Week always runs from Saturday to Saturday and encompasses Feb. 22, George Washington’s birthday.This year, the week kicked off on Feb. 21 and culminates on Saturday, Feb. 28.

Six steers, 11 lambs and 40 barrows were sold at auction Monday night at Community Sale barn, with local businesses and professional men paying premium prices to encourage young farmers who had shown the animals in the junior livestock show here that day.

James Red Nose is the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Red Nose of North 6th Street.Mr. and Mrs. Paul Bear Track returned from Anadarko, Okla., after an extended visit here.The infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Tall Bird is improving at this writing, after being sick for some time.
