The state Health Department is currently five months behind in payments for state food programs due to federal funding “that has kept our lunch program going,” but it’s expected funding will be available soon.

Kingfisher High School has named its Students of the Month for November 2025. Students are chosen based on many characteristics including responsibility, leadership, work ethic, reliability, kindness and more.
