CNN on Tuesday agreed to settle a lawsuit with Covington Catholic student Nick Sandmann, according to a report by Cincinnati’s Fox19.The amount of the settlement was not made public during a hearing at the federal courthouse in Covington, Kentucky, the report said.

To say Rob Friesen’s had a full plate during his tenure as superintendent of Okarche Public Schools might be an understatement. Now he’s passing that plate to someone else. Friesen informed school staff members Monday that he’d accepted the same position at the Thomas-Fay-Custer school district.

Kingfisher County commissioners approved suspending money or making purchase orders for the Cashion Fire Department at the request of the Town of Cashion at its weekly meeting Monday. District 1 Commissioner Jeff Moss, who moved for approval, said a reorganization was under way.
