The Oklahoma Department of Public Safety was notified last week the state has been granted what Gov. Kevin Stitt says is the last extension on the REAL ID program. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security notified the DPS that the state has until Sept.

Tuesday night crash claims four lives, OHP reports

An SUV driver and three passengers were killed Tuesday night south of Kingfisher when their vehicle collided from behind with the trailer of a commercial truck parked on the shoulder of U.S. 81, according to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol news release. The accident occurred about 7:25 p.m.

Life Chain event planned Sunday in Hennessey

Hennessey will once again be the site this Sunday of an annual pro-life event. Life Chain, now in its 32nd year, will take place at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 6, at the corner of U.S. 81 and State Highway 51.
