Kingfisher High School seniors Melody Wilfong, Jenna Mueggenborg, Jennifer Beebe and Hanna Matthews were guests of the Kingfisher Rotary Club last week. Wilfong is the daughter of Chris and Ellen Wilfong. She’s active in FCA, student council, Spanish Club, basketball, tennis and vocal.

Okarche local Dr. Jonathan Suttle returns to his hometown as a dentist to join his father, Dr. Gary Suttle, in practice at Suttle Dentistry. The addition comes as the clinic continues to grow and expand to serve Okarche, Kingfisher and surrounding communities.

The Kingfisher County Drug Court Alumni (KCDCA) will be hosting a 12-step support group meeting beginning next month. The meeting series is called “Never Alone” and will be held the first and third Tuesday of each month at 101 N. 6th St. in Kingfisher. The first meeting will be Sept.

In the last few years, the federal match for state dollars spent on Medicaid in Oklahoma has increased by a dramatic rate. But officials don’t expect that to last, and are preparing for future cuts in federal funding.
