Kingfisher Police Department is kicking off a new holiday program to make Christmas merrier for youths ages 8-13.

SIXTH STREET SINKHOLE — Paved and unpaved county roads weren’t the only byways to take a beating from May and June flooding. This surprise sinkhole opened up Tuesday afternoon on the 300 block of North Sixth Street in Kingfisher where the road base had washed away from under the pavement.
