State, fed disaster aid at $64 million

State and federal assistance to help Oklahomans recover from the recent severe weather between May 7 and June 9, 2019 is now nearly complete, according to a news release issued through Kingfisher city-county emergency manager Steve Loftis.

For several years, high school juniors have been able to take college courses through Redlands Community College’s concurrent enrollment program, but they have been responsible for the full cost of the program while seniors have been able to receive tuition waivers to offset the cost.

CFL arts festival is Wednesday

Center of Family Love is hosting an arts festival from 6-7 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, in St. Michael’s Gym on CFL’s Okarche campus. The event includes musical performances from the bell choir, vocal and sign language performance of “Don’t Give Up on Me,” and solo, duet and quartet vocal performances.
