Showers bring some early-April relief
April showers arrived on cue in Kingfisher County and across portions of central and western Oklahoma.The Mesonet station on the Mueggenborg farm west of Kingfisher registered an even .7 inch.An unofficial gauge along Shafenberg Road east of Kingfisher showed slightly over one inch.

Kingfisher Police Department and Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation agents were working through the afternoon Friday recovering what they believe are the charred remains of a missing Kingfisher woman.
