The First Baptist Church of Okarche has announced Ryan Siebert as its new youth minister. Siebert has more than three years experience as the youth and music minister at Enterprise Baptist Church in Norman. He is currently in his second year of teaching music at the Okarche Public Schools.

Two teams made up of Lomega Jr. 4-H Club members were able to capture the first and second place rankings at the Kingfisher County livestock quiz bowl contest held on Feb. 11 at the Kingfisher County Fairgrounds.

Happy Homemakers recently held its February meeting at the Kingfisher Church of the Nazarene. Amy Tollison called the meeting to order and led the flag salute. Seven members were present. Carole Liles gave the devotion. Rena Tollison was elected treasurer.

Twelve members of the Kingfisher Study Club and two guests met Feb. 6 in the home of Sherry Blair. Guests were Donna Krittenbrink and Dr. A.J. Johnson. Linda Randall served as co-hostess.
