A pair of convincing wins over Wellston added a district championship to Okarche softball’s trophy case.The host Lady Warriors beat Wellston 7-1 Thursday and 6-0 Friday to win a Class A district and advance to this week’s regional tournament.
Okarche will be the underdog this week when it takes part in a Class A fastpitch softball regional.The Lady Warriors will be the lowest-ranked team in the double-elimination tournament to be held at Arapaho-Butler.The host team is ranked No. 4 in the class with a 25-8 record.
