If it’s possible, the Kingfi sher High School softball team is getting…younger.Despite not having a senior on last year’s squad, the Lady Jackets will once again sport a roster comprised almost exclusively of underclassmen when they begin the season this Tuesday.

Snodgrass PR’s, makes 800 final

Scout Snodgrass ran the best 800 meters of her life Monday.She’ll need to do it again Wednesday to be an All-American.The rising Kingfisher High School junior placed second in her heat Monday during the preliminary races of the 800 meter dash at the AAU Junior Olympic Games in Greensboro, N.C.

Kingfisher County athletes - and coaches were among those taking part in the Oklahoma Coaches Association All-State games last week in the Tulsa area. On Wednesday, Kingfi sher’s Peyton Walker represented the Large West in the girls basketball games at Sapulpa.
