Three county towns have higher March sales tax

Kingfisher, Okarche and Loyal had sales tax increases in March compared to March 2025. The March distribution of sales tax collections by the Oklahoma Tax Commission primarily represents local tax receipts from February business.

Beneficial rains finally return

Possible crop-saving rains fell across much of Kingfisher County Wednesday evening and overnight. Amounts ranged from .15 inch southwest of Kingfisher to 3.3 inches in Dover.

Theta Tau Chapter of Epsilon Sigma Alpha met on March 16 at 7 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall of the First Christian Church. Stormy Simmons, President, led the group in the opening ritual.
