Judy Hobza was born on March 27, 1946, to John Edward and Allie L. (Godfrey) Mashaney in Cogar.

She passed away Friday, May 5, 2023, at the Cimarron Nursing Center in Kingfisher at the age of 77.

Judy graduated from Hinton High School in 1964.

She owned and operated a ceramic shop and worked at 3M for many years.

She married Buster Hobza on June 27, 1992, in Weatherford.

They moved to Kingfi sher where Judy worked in the billing department at the Kingfisher Regional Hospital.

She was a two-time cancer survivor and member of the Methodist church.

She enjoyed sewing, quilting, plants, gardening, cooking and spending time with her family and friends.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Paige Gomer; two great-grandchildren, Hope and Liam Farrar; sonin- law, Mark Gomer; and siblings Dorothy, Ashley, Orbin, Floyd, Johnnie, Vancel, Cecil, Archie and Dee Mashaney.

She is survived by her husband, Buster Hobza of Kingfisher; three children, Lisa Gomer of Weatherford, Terri Cox and husband Hans Cox of Yukon, Corey Cross and wife Shelbi of Weatherford; two-step children, Wynn Farrar and husband Dwayne of Kingfisher, Mark Hobza and wife Shele of Cashion; grandchildren Kayli Kaiser, Austin Gomer, McKenna Cox, Cade Cross and Baby Cross to be, Matthew Farrar, Seth Farrar, Michael Farrar, Daniel Farrar, Bryce Hobza, Jade Snader; 16 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marie Hankins of Wichita, Kan., and Elsie Lessig of Chickasha; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Services were May 8 at First United Methodist Church in Hinton with Rev. Kip Heatley officiating.

Burial followed at Hinton Cemetery.

Services were under the direction of Turner Funeral Home, Hinton.
