Hadley Ott was named the Most Valuable Player of the Cherokee Strip Conference for 2024-25.
The Lomega junior was voted for the honor by the conference’s coaches.
Ott was part of a balanced Lomega attack that went 25-5 on the season and advanced to within one win of qualifying for the Class B state tournament.
The Lady Raiders, ranked No. 1 most of the season, went 7-0 in Cherokee Strip Conference games and also won the conference tournament.
Ott averaged just over 9 points a game to go with 4.7 rebounds and 2.7 assists.
She shot 38 percent from 3-point range.
Teammates Aliana Lawson, also a junior, and freshman Reagan Snowden joined Ott on the all-conference team.
Paige Wheeler and Kate Myers were honorable mention.
The Lomega boys had three make the all-conference team.
Voted by coaches were seniors Ben Marsh and Chase Burton as well as junior Lance Yost.
Jaxson Snowden, a junior, was honorable mention.
The Raiders were 21-10 on the season and eliminiated by Deer Creek-Lamont in the Class B area consolation semifinals.
DCLA eventually advanced to state. That was also the only team to beat the Raiders in the conference.
Lomega was 6-1 in conference games and the conference tournament runner-up with both losses coming to DCLA.
