KHS season ended by Harrah

A rough defensive day helped lead to the end of Kingfisher’s baseball season.
The Jackets committed eight errors Friday in a 9-5 loss to Harrah in a Class 4A regional tournament elimination game in Tuttle.
The Panthers were able to build a 9-0 lead - with four unearned runs - before the Jackets were able to score in the bottom of the sixth inning.
The Jackets were able to break through as Jagger Braun and Brody Boeckman had run-scoring hits.
Braun’s single scored Cooper Henley while Boeckman’s hit brought home Carter Stephenson and Braun.
The Jackets got two more in the seventh as Henley singled home Trypp Lack and then Kaden Cline scored on a sacrifice fly by Sloan Merrill.
But Kingfisher’s wouldbe rally ended with the next batter as the season concluded with a 7-22 mark.
Boeckman had two of Kingfisher’s eight hits.
Henley pitched 5 1/3 innings and surrendered six hits and all nine runs, though only five were earned.
He struck out five batters and walked three.
Cline finished the game with 1 2/3 innings and struck out two while giving up a lone hit.
