Kingfisher’s White makes state tennis

Although the school year is coming to a close, Hayes White still has some work left to do on the court. Wellknown for his skills on the basketball court, the Kingfi sher High School junior proved he’s quite competent on the tennis court as well. White placed fourth Monday in No. 1 singles at the Class 4A regional at the Oklahoma City Tennis Center. That earned White a spot in the state tournament, which will be back at the same venue this Friday and Saturday. [Photo provided]
