Keith Goodwin
Keith Goodwin was born Nov. 13, 1951, and passed away Aug. 5, 2025. He was 73.
Keith was a decent man and was raised by his father as a southern gentleman.
He was a strident socialist Democrat. He truly believed that the government should do everything to take care of the people financially, medically and security.
He tried to live with good karma and felt he was successful. Good karma came back upon him numerous times in his life.
He did not acclimate to turning 70 and his old age. It was so limiting from what he was used to.
Keith enjoyed reasonable global health all his life, but certainly was encompassed by chronic pain and arthritic malady.
He loved his family, his dear friends (who were many), his cats that he and Gina raised off the teat. They provided him with much love and pleasure.
He was proud to be a Southern gentleman.
Gina took good care of him when he was disabled due to a broken back. He loved her.
May the world be at peace. “Live long and prosper.”
Keith was preceded in death by his father and his mother, Lee Goodwin and Elizabeth Schieber-Goodwin, his uncle Howard Goodwin and aunt Lucille.
He is survived by his loving family: his partner Gina Dvorak; his daughters Cheyenne Goodwin and son-in-law Charles Vaughn of El Reno, Keila Goodwin- Ruhl and son-in-law Daniel Ruhl of Kingfisher and Dakota Goodwin and son-in-law Jacen Whitlock of Kingfisher; granddaughters Emberlee Ruhl and Ashlyn Ruhl of Kingfisher.
A memorial service was held at the Goodwin family farm on Saturday, Aug. 16.
