Joetta ‘Jody’ Wiewel

Joetta “Jody” Wiewel, 86, passed away Monday, Oct. 20, 2025, at Norman Regional Healthplex.

Jody was born in Bison on July 25, 1939, to Joseph and Agnes Linhart. She married Paul Wiewel on Aug. 19, 1958, in Okarche.

They had three children: Rebecca, Marsha and Randy.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 23, at Vondel Smith Mortuary at South Lakes, 4000 SW 119th St., Okla-homa City.

There will be no viewing or visitation.
