Jacksons makes major donations to first responders, PTO
JACKSONS OF KINGFISHER CHEVROLET GMC made $11,000 worth of donations last week in honoring local first responders and education supporters. Jalene and Casey Jackson along with family members and employees of Jacksons of Kingfisher were on hand last Friday night to make a presentation during halftime of the KHS football game. Partnering with Chevrolet and the GM First Responder Program, Jacksons of Kingfisher donated $2,000 each to the Kingfisher Police Department, Kingfisher Fire Department and Kingfisher County Sheriff’s Office. “These brave men and women aren’t just first responders – they are our neighbors, our fellow church members, our family members and the guardians of our kids’ futures. They rush into danger so we can cheer from the stands, hug our loved ones tight and build memories like these,” it was read during the presentation. “To our police, sheriff and fire families: from the bottom of our hearts, thank you. Thank you for your selfless service, your courage and for making our hometown the safest place to raise a family.” Not done, Jacksons also donated $5,000 to the Kingfisher Parent Teacher Organization. “You are what makes our community the heart of our lives: strong families, shared dreams and the dedicated parents and teachers who shape our children’s futures every single day,” it was read. “You’re the unsung heroes who turn classrooms into launchpads, fund field trips that spark wonder and build the foundation for our kids to chase their dreams – just like we do from these bleachers and our homes. Because investing in our kids is investing in our entire community.” During the presentation, it was asked of all first responders, educators and PTO volunteers in attendance to stand and be recognized.
