Basketball, wrestling affected by weather
Weather has affected a number of athletic events early in the week as well.
All six Kingfisher County schools called off school both on Monday and Tuesday.
That led to a number of schedule changes for basketball and wrestling early in the week.
Kingfisher was set to host Marlow in a wrestling dual Tuesday evening.
That has been postponed, but a makeup date had not been set by press time.
The KHS basketball teams were slated to hit the road Tuesday night against Cache.
Those games have also been called off with the two schools still searching for a makeup date.
All other county schools had games on Tuesday that were - at the very least postponed, if not canceled altogether.
Two makeup dates are known.
Crescent will travel to Okarche on Wednesday, Jan. 28, with the girls game set for 2:30 p.m.
Medford will visit Lomega this Saturday, Jan. 31. The girls game will tip off at 6 p.m.
Other games scheduled for Tuesday included Cashion at Hennessey and Dover at Okeene.
All of those games had been postponed with no makeup date yet scheduled.
