A memorial service for Jimmie Dale Givens, formerly of Kingfisher, will be Saturday, Nov. 8.It will be held at 618 Seminole St. in South Coffeyville, Okla.A meal will be served at the come-and-go memorial.Jimmie was born Dec. 15, 1945, and passed away Nov. 5, 2024.

Virginia Hellwege, 92, formerly of Kingfisher, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2025.Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 27, at the Willow United Methodist Church with burial to follow at Brinkman Cemetery in Willow.

Peggy Josephine Zehr was born Sept. 26, 1936, in Shamrock to Richard and Hazel (Owensby) Cooper. She passed away Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2025, at the age of 89.Peggy grew up in Torrance, Calif.

Joetta “Jody” Wiewel, 86, passed away Monday, Oct. 20, 2025, at Norman Regional Healthplex.Jody was born in Bison on July 25, 1939, to Joseph and Agnes Linhart. She married Paul Wiewel on Aug. 19, 1958, in Okarche.They had three children: Rebecca, Marsha and Randy.

The funeral for Anna Loewen Friessen Unrau, 57, was Saturday, Oct. 18,, at Lifeway Church in Kingfisher, officiated by Jake Dyck.Burial followed at Dover Cemetery under the direction of Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home.

Michael Eugene Wilson, 73, of Kingfisher, passed away peacefully on Friday, Oct. 10, 2025, in Yukon after a short but courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by the family he loved so dearly.Mike was born on July 10, 1952, in Vernon, Texas, to Delma “Slim” Wilson and Mary “Agnes” Wilson.

Barbara Jean Smola was born Aug. 11, 1941, in Kingfisher to Dona Jean Brown and Cecil Nicholas Schoelen. Beloved grandparents were Charles and Anna Brown and Jacob and Elizabeth Schoelen, all of Kingfisher.Barbara passed away in her home with her family present on Oct.

Coen Matthew Cameron, 2, of Spring Lake, Wyalusing, Pa., became one of God’s Angels on Sunday, Oct. 5, 2025.Coen was born on April 2, 2023, in Scranton, Pa., a son of James Cole and Briana Mae Vanderpool Cameron.Coen loved animals, especially horses and was always helping his Mom with barrel racing.
