Edward Lee Seiger was born April 21, 1948, in Los Animas, Colo., to Otis and Thelma (Slape) Seiger and passed away Dec. 23, 2019, at the age of 71. Edward attended Hennessey Schools. He was in the U.S. Army from May 7, 1970, to May 6, 1976, and received a National Defense Service Medal.

Phyllis Jean Frost, 65, was born July 19, 1954, to Pat Ray and Dorothy Frost in Mena, Ark., and passed away in Orange County, Calif., on Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2019, after a courageous battle with cancer. Phyllis was active in track, basketball, softball and band.

Memorial service for Melvin Edward Thompson, 78, was Dec. 26 at Dover Christian Church offi ciated by Rev. Fred Jones. Cremation arrangements were by Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home. Mel was born in Kingfi sher on June 8, 1941, to George and Lorraine Roberts Thompson and passed away Sunday, Dec.

Raymond Leroy Reiswig, 93, of Kingfisher, passed away peacefully Dec. 24, 2019.

John “Richard” Ahlden, 79, of Kingfisher, died on Sunday, Dec. 22, 2019, at a local nursing home. Memorial services are pending with the family and will be scheduled after the New Year. A full obituary will appear in the Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2020, newspaper.

Susan Webb, 63, formerly of Kingfi sher, passed away Saturday, Dec. 14, 2019, in Denver, Colo. Susan was born Jan. 18, 1956, in Kingfisher to Mono and Ethel Powers Eaton.

AREA DEATHS Logan Wyatt Whittenburg was born July 6, 2008, in Oklahoma City to Austin and Hannah Means Whittenburg. He died Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2019, at St. Francis Children’s Hospital in Tulsa at the age of 11. Services were Monday, Dec.

Phyllis Dean (Bamberg) Warner, 83, a resident of the Forest Grove, Ore., community, died Wednesday morning, Dec. 11, 2019 at her home. Private cremation rites were held at the Hoyt Crematory in Forest Grove. Phyllis was born Aug.

Justin Wane Schnell was born April 27, 1997, to David and Lori Schnell at University Hospital in Oklahoma City and passed from this life on Dec. 16, 2019, in Oklahoma City at the age of 22. Justin was born with congenital myotonic dystrophy and was only given a 50-50 chance to survive.

Justin Schnell, 22, Hitchcock, passed away Monday, Dec. 16, 2019. Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20, at Kingfisher Cemetery under the direction of Lanman Funeral Home of Okeene.
