Shirley Ann Smith of Edmond passed into the arms of her Heavenly Father on May 30, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving behind a legacy of love and beauty.Shirley was born Feb. 18, 1937, to Edward and Georgia Struck in Kingfisher.

Bobbie Schrie (Kannady) Braden, 63, of Kingfisher, went to walk the streets of gold with her Lord and Savior on May 27, 2024. Schrie was born on June 22, 1960, in Salem, Ill., to Luke and Bert Kannady.Schrie graduated from Kingfisher High School in 1978.

Joan Dowell Norman, 82, passed away Friday, May 24, 2024, at her home in Hennessey.There will be no services at her request.Joan was born in Winston- Salem, N.C., on Aug. 19, 1941, to Frederick Eugene and Virginia Elizabeth Lewellyn Dowell.She married William Arthur Norman in South Carolina on Dec.

Ann Copeland passed away in Portland, Ore., on May 13, 2024, due to complications related to dementia.Ann was born in 1939 in Kingfisher.She was the only child of R.A. “Ray” Alexander and Gladys (Lyman) Copeland.

Billie Lou (Burton) Melendy passed peacefully May 19, 2024, in her home surrounded by family.Billie, 89, was born Sept. 3, 1934, in Enid to William A. Burton, Jr., and Lula Mae (Lou) Burton.She was a 1953 graduate of Dover High School.Billie married Dale Clark Melendy on June 14, 1953.

Mildred Katherine Hau Lodes of Okarche passed away on May 19, 2024, at Golden Age Nursing Home in Guthrie.She was born June 15, 1933, in Oklahoma City.For many years she worked as a floral designer in El Reno and Kingfisher.

Carolyn Baker Wright passed away Monday, May 13, 2024, at the age of 85, surrounded by her daughters.Carolyn was born Jan. 4, 1939, in Kingfisher to John and Winifred Baker.The Baker family moved to Stillwater during Carolyn’s high school years.

Warren Lee Gilmour passed away at his home Saturday, Nov. 25, 2023, surrounded by family. Passing just five days before his 91st birthday, Warren lived a full life.

Theresa Mary Ottis died May 8, 2024, at Mercy Hospital Kingfisher.The prayer service was Sunday evening and Mass of Christian Burial was Monday.Both services were at Holy Trinity Church in Okarche with Rev. Cory Stanley and Deacon Max Schwarz officiating.
