Carolyn Marie Kersey Corwin, 78, of Crescent, passed away on May 27, 2022, after a long battle with poor health.Carolyn was born on Oct. 1, 1943, in Trousdale to Herman and Louise Compton Kersey. She was the oldest of three girls.

Cleo Lorene (Crist) Mathews, 85, of Sweetwater, Tenn., and formerly of Kingfisher, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2022.Cleo was born Feb. 20, 1937, and was raised by loving parents, the late Marvin Cleo and Beulah Lorene (Ogle) Crist of Kingfisher.She graduated from Kingfisher High School in 1955.

Margie Louise Soudek was born April 21, 1928, in Kingfisher to Edwin John and Mary Martha (Hobza) Buettner.She graduated from Kingfisher High School in 1946.She met Joseph Edward Soudek at a dance and they were married April 18, 1950. Margie and Joe were married for 49 years and had three children.

The funeral for Jimmy Dean Hawk, 66, was Friday May 27, at Dover Christian Church officiated by Jimmy Berkenbile. Burial followed at Hennessey Cemetery under the direction of Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home.Jimmy was born at Okeene on Nov.

Roxie Ann Lann, 64, of Kingfisher passed away May 18, 2022 in Kingfisher. She was born July 22, 1957, in Seminole to Claude and Donna Lann.Roxie was a very devoted nurse. She most recently worked at Love’s serving her customers as she did her patients. She loved taking care of others and her family.
