In this column I’m going to reveal a secret that may destroy my career as a cow columnist. It’s so bad that my fellow cowboy friends may boot me from their ranks. My wife says I should just hobble my lip and never reveal my secret but I think I’m being dishonest in not leveling with you.

KPS board passes latest estimate of needs

In a 21-minute special meeting on Wednesday, the Kingfisher Board of Education approved the school district’s estimate of needs for the 2025-26 fiscal year.Prepared by Britton, Kuykendall & Miller of Weatherford, this year’s estimate of needs totaled $11,925,603.53 in the general fund.
