Read moreThe home of Brice and Laura (Spurrier) Moulton and their three children, at 406 N. Cheyenne, Hennessey, was destroyed in a Tuesday afternoon fire. Assistant Hennessey Fire Chief James Matousek said the front and side walls are about all that’s left standing of the structure after 11 firefighters and five vehicles responded to the call shortly before 1 p.m. Only one family member was home, a sixth grade daughter, who was alerted to the fire by the family dogs and escaped without injury, Matousek said. The cause of the fire has not been determined but Matousek said “a hot spot was on the west wall in the kitchen and utility room.” See the full story online at kingfisherpress.net.
