The following traffic accident is being investigated by the Kingfisher Police Department: June 15, 6:45 a.m. - At 701 N. Main St. Dayne Hargrove, 28, Shamrock, Texas, driving a 2012 Chevrolet, was backing out of a parking space.

Census worker seeks assistance from county

Tricia Woodward of the U.S. Census Bureau asked county commissioners for assistance in getting 2020 census forms completed. Stressing that census numbers are used in apportioning federal funds to states, she said Kingfisher County is lagging behind the national average.

County meets with contractor

Kingfisher County commissioners held a discussion session Thursday with Jerry Wisdom of Total Assessment Solutions Corp. (TASC).

LeeAnn LaFave Swanson left this earth on June 13, 2020, after a brief but valiant battle with cancer. At the time of her passing, she resided in Colorado Springs, Colo., but had lived in several cities in Texas and Oklahoma throughout her very full life.

John ‘JR’ Reherman

John Mark Reherman “JR” of Phoenix, Ariz., passed away suddenly on June 14, 2020, while doing one of the things he loved the most, camping near Flagstaff. John was born in Kingfisher on April 16, 1958.

Franklin Nault

Franklin Delano Nault was born Nov. 20, 1935, to John L. and Christina (Kotsmith) Nault in Okeene and passed away June 11, 2020, following a short illness. He was 84. Franklin graduated from Okeene High School in 1953. He married Delores Ann Knopp on Oct. 18, 1954, in Enid.
