Another fantastic Okarche baseball season has ended one win shy of the state championship game.The Warriors were downed 3-1 Friday by top-ranked Wright City in the Class A-I semifinals at Oklahoma Christian University.

Lomega athletes earn medals in 3 events

Lomega had five athletes combined to medal in three events and score 21 points in the Class A state track and field meet at Western Heights High School.The Lady Raiders’ showing placed them in a tie for 13th in the team standings.Kate Myers medaled twice for the team.

Cashion girls 3rd in loaded 2A field

Just how good was Class 2A girls track and field in 2025?When Cashion won the state championship in 2018, the team scored 86 points, which was 20 points better than the state runner-up.

The following traffic accidents are being investigated by the Kingfisher Police Department: April 10, 12:20 p.m. - At U.S. 81 and Miles Avenue.A 16-year-old female, Kingfisher, driving a 2020 Toyota Prius, was eastbound on West Miles Avenue.

Book club meets next Monday
