Rep. Mike Sanders reports: Governor Stitt signs budget

 Gov. (Kevin) Stitt last week signed the state appropriation’s bill, which I believe accomplished great things for Oklahomans without raising any new taxes. This budget received overwhelming support in both the House and the Senate, and ensures we are properly funding core government services.

Kingfisher’s Kamas named top OKC-area golfer

Maddi Kamas didn’t get the team or individual state championships she was gunning for during her golf season, so consolation prizes will have to make due for now. A big one came last week. The Kingfisher High School sophomore was named the All-City Player of the Year for girls golf.

Kingfisher High School’s golf coaches said “thank you” to the Kingfisher Golf Association and Kingfisher Golf Course recently in the form of a check.

Leslie Kamas

Leslie Allan Kamas, 73, passed away peacefully at Integris Baptist Hospital on May 25, 2019. The son of Lewis and Darlien Kamas, Les was born on March 26, 1946, at the Freedom Clinic and Hospital. He was baptized as a small child and attended the Freedom Christian Church.
