Rotary Club hosts 4 KHS seniors

Four Kingfisher High School seniors were guests recently at a meeting of the Kingfisher Rotary Club.Joining the local civic group were Brooke Barton, Mia Franco, Kadyn Daugherty and Hailey Bieren.Barton is the daughter of Benjamin and Lisa Barton.She’s active in STUCO, choir and tennis.

When Raegan Snider sat down Friday night, she was already putting the game behind her.“I hit the bench in the fourth quarter and I was already turning the page to the next game,” said the lone senior on the Kingfisher High School girls basketball team.

Cyril’s moment

The game was over, but Brett Tahah gave her five seniors one last run together.The Okarche lineup on the court for one final time consisted of Harper White, Katy Creswell, Scout Payne, Kylie Harper and Avery Schieber.

Longhorn run ends in semifinals

It was, quite simply, as historic a season as the Dover boys basketball program has ever experienced.It fell two wins shy of the ultimate goal on Friday as the Longhorns were defeated 44-36 by No. 1 Calumet in the Class B semifinals at Yukon High School.
