October trial date set in Myers’ case

The trial date for Kingfisher High School’s former football coach has been set.Jeff Myers will face a jury trial beginning 9 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 14.That order was handed down Wednesday morning by District Judge Paul Woodward as Myers made an appearance in Kingfisher County District Court.

Multiple races develop in county for municipal seats

No race developed in Kingfisher, but did elsewhere in the county as the filing period for municipal seats closed Wednesday.Incumbent Jeff Wittrock was the lone person to file for the Kingfisher City Commission Seat 2 that he currently holds.
