The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following reports: December 30 - Planning or threatening a violent act.Officer Kyle Svoboda responded to a report of a customer causing a disturbance at Love’s, 201 S. Main St.

Larry Dean Garvin, a longtime resident of Kingfi sher, passed away peacefully on Jan. 10, 2025, at the age of 82, at Mercy Hospital Kingfisher. He was surrounded by his son, Scott, and daughters Becky and Brandi, along with their respective partners.

Dan Leonard Marlow, 69, passed away Jan. 11, 2025. He was born July 6, 1955, in Kingfisher to John and Helen Marlow.Dan grew up on the Marlow farm west of Cashion.Dan graduated from Cashion High School in 1973.

OBA gets repeat title over Cashion

For the second straight year, Oklahoma Bible Academy is the Three Rivers Conference Tournament champion on the girls side.And, for the second straight year, it came at the expense of Cashion in the championship game.OBA downed the Lady Wildcats 46-43 Monday night in title tilt at Minco High School.

THEIR TURN – Nobody has won more Wheat Capital Tournament championships than the Kingfi sher High School boys. The Jackets have laid claim to 14 titles since the tournament began in 1970. The KHS girls had just one championship...and that was in 2009.

Cause of a non-injury fire Sunday morning at the Mustang Gas Plant two miles south of Hennessey had not been made public as of Tuesday morning.The fire was reported at about 10 a.m.
