Raiders’ challenging schedule continues with reigning champs

Lomega’s recent schedule has looked eerily similar to a Tournament of Champions bracket That included Tuesday night when the Raiders hosted reigning Class B champion Calumet, which left town with a 96-46 victory.It was Lomega’s third consecutive loss since opening the season with a win at Drummond.

Second-quarter surge helps Lomega put away Calumet

There was a brief moment when it appeared Calumet might let Lomega run away with the game early.Then it appeared the Lady Chieftains found their legs and even offered the slightest of hope they might be able to pull off an upset.

Longhorns remain unbeaten

After falling behind early, Dover dominated the final three quarters on Tuesday to stay unbeaten.The Longhorns trailed by four points after a quarter at Mulhall-Orlando, but used a 16-2 run to kickstart a 65-33 victory.The victory upped Dover’s season mark to 5-0.

Tommy Joe Parrish

Tommy Joe Parrish, 67, of Hennessey, died Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2025, at AMG Specialty Hospital in Oklahoma City.He was born Oct. 4, 1958, in Oklahoma City to Kenneth Parrish and Alice Stribel.Tommy was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Steven Parrish and Johnny Parrish.

NHS INDUCTION CEREMONY – Kingfisher High School’s chapter of the National Honor Society has more than 30 new members. Officers on Wednesday conducted a ceremony to induct the new sophomore and junior members at the KHS commons.
