Joetta “Jody” Wiewel, 86, passed away Monday, Oct. 20, 2025, at Norman Regional Healthplex.Jody was born in Bison on July 25, 1939, to Joseph and Agnes Linhart. She married Paul Wiewel on Aug. 19, 1958, in Okarche.They had three children: Rebecca, Marsha and Randy.

State Cross Country Schedule

Three girls teams and multiple individuals have qualifi ed for this weekend’s state cross country meets.State is being held Saturday on the campus of North Rock Creek High School in northeast Shawnee.
