Excise board passes KPS estimate of needs

With much less fanfare than a year ago, the Kingfisher County Excise Board voted last Wednesday to pass the estimate of needs for Kingfisher Public Schools.

Letha Frances Schulz passed away Thursday, Sept. 18, 2025, in Oklahoma City.Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 22, at Sanders Funeral Service.Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 23, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Kingfisher, with burial to follow at Kingfisher Cemetery.

‘Skeeter’ promotes coming Lionssponsored circus at Hennessey

All we know is that her name is “Skeeter” and she loves being a clown and helping Lions Clubs with its fundraisers. She landed in Hennessey Wednesday afternoon and visited downtown businesses, the schools and with care center residents to give them a taste of clowning around.
