Ready for school...ball

A 14-under softball team from Kingfisher got its final summer tune-up July 16-17 by claiming a tournament championship in Harrah. The Lady Jackets went 5-0 on the weekend and outscored foes 40-9. The team never surrendered more than three runs in any game. Kinley Taylor, far right on the back row, was named the tournament MVP.
