The Torch Is Passed

The KHS Photography staff’s annual rite of “passing the torch” recently took place. Grace Stinnett, center, who has been the chief photographer this year, will graduate in May and is passing her responsibilities to new Chief Photographer Matthew Miller, left. Also standing Assistant Chief Rebecca Auringer. Kneeling are staff photographers Jackson McCormick and Breona McConnell. All the students pictured are prize winning photographers. Under the direction of Dr. A.J. Johnson, the staff photographers have been responsible for photographing school activities throughout the year while also pursuing their own photography education. In addition, they have supervised beginning photographers as they learn the basics, Johnson said. [Photo by KHS Photography]
