Dover’s Conrady signs with Sterling College

Dover senior Lucas Conrady signed Monday to continue his basketball career. Conrady will play for Sterling College in Sterling, Kan. Among those at the ceremony held at the high school were family, classmates, teammates and others. Pictured are, from left: Dover coach Danny Green, Conrady, Sterling assistant coach Ean Heise and Dover coach Jared Reese. Conrady was a two-year starter for the Longhorns and helped lead the team to its best season in program history in 2024-25. Dover finished 27-3, won an area championship for the first time and advanced to the Class B semifinals for just the second time. He led the team in assists both seasons in Dover, but Reese said his contributions to the team went beyond the numbers. “Lucas is a great leader,” Reese said. “He was willing to do whatever was best for the team and was constantly working to improve his game. I’m extremely happy for him and his opportunity to continue playing at the next level.” [Photo provided]
