Branscum honored as local post, auxiliary celebrate American Legion’s 105th birthday

Keith Lowry-Henry Ellyson Post 5 held a joint meeting March 14 with the Post American Legion Auxiliary to celebrate the American Legion’s 105th birthday.The members of both groups were introduced and, after a short business meeting, Commander James Kale presented Hugh Branscum with a certificate for being a continuous member of the American Legion for 70 years, all in the Kingfisher post. Refreshments were served and visiting with friends followed. Pictured below is Kale, right, presenting the honor to Branscum.
