The Loyal Lions Club met May 11 to honor Lomega High School’s Students of the Semester. Students honored were Jesse-James Johnston, second from left, and Abbigail Hansen, third from left. They were introduced by Lomega High School Principal Cory Wilson, far left, who shared their school involvement, hobbies, awards and future plans upon graduation. The guest speaker for this meeting was Kirby Smith, far right, chief of staff for Lt. Governor Matt Pinnell. Smith spoke to the group about the lieutenant governor’s office and its responsibilities to the state, her role and background and took questions.
