Cashion School construction projects in full swing

Cashion photographer Brad Stone offered some picturesque updates on some of the construction projects taking place on the school district’s campus. Above is the track complex that is being constructed east of the high school campus. Below right is the baseball field, which was repositioned from its former spot on the west end of the school’s campus. The field will be complete with a turf infield among other amenities. Cashion voters passed a pair of bond issues in September 2019. The first proposition was for $10.875 million, which is financing the renovation of the elementary and middle schools, several safety measures and connecting the high school and middle school buildings, among several other features. The second proposition was for $8.885 million and allows for the construction of the two projects pictured. The larger of the propositions passed by 70 percent and the smaller one by 64 percent.
