Seniors Maricza Lopez and T.J. Parker were named the 2020-21 Kingfisher High School homecoming queen and captain during ceremonies prior to last week’s football game. The coronation was held prior to the Yellowjackets’ 21-10 loss to Clinton. Kingfisher County 4-H members competed in the West District Trap Contest held on Oct. 3 in Enid. One of the county’s senior teams took second place. Team members included, from left, Katie Brickman, James Perdue and Reid Witt of Kingfisher, and Jake Henrichs of Okarche. Perdue not only won “High Male Individual,” but also the “High Individual Overall” honors at the contest. Brickman was the “High Female Individual” as well.
