Anna Unrau

The funeral for Anna Loewen Friessen Unrau, 57, was Saturday, Oct. 18,, at Lifeway Church in Kingfisher, officiated by Jake Dyck.

Burial followed at Dover Cemetery under the direction of Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home.

Anna was born in Cuahtemoc, Chihuahua, Mexico, on July 19, 1968, to Isaack and Maria Friessen Loewen and died Saturday, Oct. 11, 2025, at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City.

She married Abraham Unrau in Mexico on Oct. 15, 1989.

Anna is survived by her husband Abraham of the home; two daughters, Susie Unrau and Tina Bullard and husband Laramie, all of Dover; two grandchildren, Wyatt Bullard and Lainey Bullard of Dover; two sisters, Tina Martens and husband Peter and Maria Neaustaeter and husband Hein; two brothers, Isaack Loewen and wife Agatha and Jacob Loewen and wife Anna; one sister-in-law, Eva Loewen; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Bernard Loewen.
